We all know how crucial is Menstrual Hygiene for women health and dignity and our environment, yet worldwide millions of girls still lack access to affordable, safe products. Disposable pads and tampons are conventional Items that are made of synthetic materials hence pose health risks and contribute significantly to environment pollution as hundreds of years are taken by these Items to decompose therefore filling landfills and polluting oce HOW TO FIGHT THESE CHALLENGES??? Well for now the least we can do is, adopt Sustainable Menstrual Products. These products include options like menstrual cups, cotton cloth pads, period underwear and biodegradable tampons as these products are reusable, reduce waste and chemical free that are harmful for our body. For example, Menstrual Cups can be used for up to 12 hours and last for several years, while Cloth Pads are washable and made from natural fibers offering comfort and absorbency.Therefore we can say that by encouraging sustainable menstrual products we encourage a healthier and eco-friendly society. Our NGO (Ayudhi Care Foundation) plays a pivotal role in promoting these products by educating women in rural as well as urban areas about menstrual hygiene, we have conducted various workshops with doctors who educated woman about the importance of menstrual hygiene for overall body, providing access to sustainable products and advocating for policy change. Distributing eco friendly menstrual products in impoverished communities to help reduce the environmental footprint while supporting women's health and dignity. By shifting towards sustainable menstrual care, we empower women and girls, reduce waste and contribute to a healthier planet. It’s time to make menstrual hygiene a priority both for the well being of individuals and the future of our environment.
