Sambalika Flagship Program

About the Program

About the Program

SAMBALIKA stands for Skill · Arts · Money · Balance · Leadership · Innovation · Knowledge · Action — and it is Ayudhi Care Foundation's most ambitious undertaking. Launched across Jodhpur district in 2022, SAMBALIKA is a multi-program framework that runs 10 simultaneous interventions, each designed to work independently and in concert.

Women who enter SAMBALIKA through one program — say, livelihood training — are gradually connected to financial literacy, then to self-help groups, then to safety education, then to community leadership. The model recognises that poverty, inequality, and disempowerment are not single problems. They require interconnected solutions.

Our Objectives

Our Objectives

What SAMBALIKA Sets Out to Achieve:

01 — Economic Independence To equip women from marginalised communities with income-generating skills, financial literacy, and access to micro-enterprise support — so they can build sustainable livelihoods independent of external support.

02 — Safety and Legal Awareness To ensure every woman in Ayudhi's reach knows her rights, can protect herself physically, and has access to legal and institutional support systems when she needs them.

03 — Health and Wellbeing To address the health and nutrition gaps that keep women and girls from participating fully in economic and social life — through menstrual health education, counselling, and community health linkages.

04 — Community Leadership To develop a cadre of women who don't just benefit from programs, but lead them — as SHG leaders, peer educators, community mobilisers, and local advocates for gender equity.

05 — Intergenerational Change To ensure that the daughters of the women SAMBALIKA serves grow up in households and communities where girls are educated, women are respected, and opportunity is not gendered.
